Vertical Wind Profiling with Doppler LiDAR

Conventional surface instruments measure wind conditions at a fixed location and elevation. The Doppler Laser Wind Measurement System provides wind profile information across multiple altitudes, offering additional insight into atmospheric flow above the monitoring site.

When combined with pollutant and surface meteorological measurements, vertical wind data can support the interpretation of pollutant transport, changing dispersion conditions, and atmospheric boundary-layer behavior.

Koistech supports the integration of Doppler LiDAR wind profiling into ambient air quality monitoring projects through project-based system configuration and technical coordination.

Automated Acid Rain Sampling and Analysis

KOISTECH IP-101 Automated Acid Rain Sampling and Analysis System

Precipitation chemistry provides information that is not captured by gaseous pollutant and particulate measurements alone. The automated acid rain system detects rain or snow, collects and distributes samples, and performs pH, conductivity, and ion analysis within an integrated monitoring platform.

A refrigerated portion of each collected sample can be retained for subsequent laboratory verification. When combined with ambient pollutant and meteorological observations, precipitation chemistry data can support wet-deposition assessment and provide additional context for long-term environmental monitoring.
